New Appointment Reinforces Company Focus on High Quality Radiology Services

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Optimal IMX, a national provider of radiology services for hospitals, imaging centers and radiology groups, announced today that James K. Kirker has been named CEO, effective October 1, 2010. Kirker brings more than 20 years of executive leadership advancing efficiency and effectiveness in radiology services for both physicians and hospitals.

Kirker is an experienced executive in physician practice management, diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy. He has a proven track record in creating mutually beneficial partnerships between physicians and hospitals that improve the efficiency and quality of radiology services. Kirker has built and managed national and international sales and marketing teams, created robust corporate operations and has successfully lead companies ranging from startup through maturity.
