TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Medjo, Inc., a new social media and healthcare technology company dedicated to helping people effectively manage their healthcare needs through online and mobile medical record archives and journals, community forums and other valuable applications, has added JJ Rorie as Senior Vice President, Product. In this role, Ms. Rorie will be responsible for the strategy and execution of all of Medjo’s product lines.
Ms. Rorie joins Medjo with over 13 years of experience in strategic product management and marketing. She recently led global financial services intelligence and analytics product management for First Data, a global leader in electronic commerce. She has also served as the head of product and marketing for ROW Systems, Inc., a B2B software company, and held various leadership roles in several companies, including T-Mobile, AMN Healthcare and TearDrop Golf Company.
Ms. Rorie received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
MyMedjoSM, the flagship product from Medjo, will launch in 2011 and provide consumers a free, personal medical journal in which they can securely record important personal and family medical history, receive alerts when doctor’s appointments and prescription refills are due, gather valuable advice from other patients and medical providers and keep track of healthcare bills and spending.
