The Government Accountability Office this week took issue with the legality of the $8.3 billion Medicare Advantage Quality Bonus Payment Demonstration, The Washington Post reported. The GAO on Wednesday sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, questioning the demonstration project in which the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services provides incentives to promote quality.
