MDI Adds Professional Services to Provide Assistance with ACO Integration

PONTE VEDRA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MDI announced today the creation of a new Professional Services division. MDI Professional Services will offer custom solutions, consulting, and training services for providers and payers looking to increase operational efficiency and profitability through a coordinated system of care and data management.

"We offer the perfect service for companies that are looking to standardize operations around data sharing and healthcare performance management," said Cary Smith, President of Professional Services at MDI.

The company is kicking off the new services offering with an integration service to assist hospitals and other healthcare entities with planning, creating, and effectively operating an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). Combining elements of the company’s successful Viewpoint AnalyticsTMplatform and Carepoint Custom Provider NetworksSM, MDI Professional Services can guide organizations throughout the process—from the standardization of data across multiple entities through the build-out of network services and financial administration.

Aside from ACO operations, MDI’s Professional Service division will provide consulting and education services for a variety of healthcare needs. Their capabilities range from guidance in marketing and communications to more in-depth projects like helping brokers and employers coordinate the integration of wellness programs, stop loss, pharmacy and laboratory services into their self-funded programs.

MDI Professional Services can also provide training and education for healthcare professionals in operational efficiency, plan utilization, disease management and population health management.

MDI Professional Services will work with partners to deliver an end-to-end services solution that includes plan design, provider contracting, healthcare data management, employee training, administration, and performance measurement using health data analytics.
