MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Concentric Medical, Inc., the global leader in devices for clot removal in ischemic stroke patients, today announced that Maria Sainz has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. The new appointment was effective April 8, 2008.

Ms. Sainz brings to Concentric almost twenty years of experience in the cardiovascular medical technology area.
