Partnership Will Help NJ Physicians Achieve Meaningful Use of Electronic Health Records (EHR)

JERSEY CITY, N.J., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- ITelagen, a leading provider of electronic health record (EHR) software, hosting and management today announced that it was selected by the New Jersey Health Information Technology Extension Center (NJ-HITEC) to assist New Jersey Physicians, on behalf of NJ-HITEC, to achieve meaningful use of EHRs.

Organized by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHIT), NJ-HITEC has been established to provide technical assistance, guidance, resources and information to accelerate provider adoption and support the meaningful use of EHRs. ITelagen, under a partnership with the NJ-HITEC, will work together with the NJ-HITEC to assist an estimated 5,000 New Jersey primary care physicians in their use of electronic health records and to meet meaningful use standards within the next two years.
