IPC The Hospitalist Company Names New Executive Director for Tennessee

(Nasdaq: ) announced today that it has appointed David Roe to the position of Executive Director for the Company’s Northeast Tennessee/Southwest Virginia region. In his new role, Roe will be in charge of operations throughout the region in both acute and post-acute care facilities. He will be responsible for delivering on IPC’s ongoing commitment to align the Company’s providers with the operational goals of the facilities, while delivering high quality and cost-effective care to their patients. Roe will report to Glenn Appelbaum, IPC’s Senior Vice President for Operations.

Roe joins IPC from his most recent position as Executive Director of THS Physician Partners, a subsidiary of Thomas Health System located in Charleston, West Virginia. Prior to that position, Roe served in a variety of management positions with Johnson City, Tennessee-based Mountain States Health Alliance. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Milligan College and completed his MBA at Vanderbilt University.
