IMPAC Medical Systems Selected to Present at the Electronic Health Records Lab During 2008 ASCO Annual Meeting

CHICAGO and SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- IMPAC Medical Systems, Inc., an Elekta Company, has been selected to present at the Electronic Health Records (EHR) Lab during the 2008 American Society of Clinical Oncology's (ASCO) Annual Meeting, May 30 - June 1, at McCormick Place, in Chicago, Illinois. This is the second year in a row IMPAC has been chosen. The screening process, which begins six months prior to the event, is competitive and includes an application and live demonstrations to the ASCO committee.

A hands-on experience, the EHR Lab will offer a setting for oncologists, administrators, nurses and other members of the oncology care team to view demonstrations of how IMPAC's oncology EHR, MOSAIQ(TM) Medical Oncology, can work for their cancer center.

One of 12 vendors chosen, IMPAC will demonstrate the capacity of their products to provide ASCO recommended clinical decision support using:
