Company selected by Iowa HITREC to achieve meaningful use of EHRs

e-MDs was identified through a four-month vetting process conducted by the IFMC HITREC and is one of six named vendors that will facilitate adoption and implementation of certified EHR technology over the next two years. e-MDs scored well regarding functionality, pricing and a live demonstration analysis and was also recognized for its ability to aide in the reception of incentive payments for meaningful use that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will begin providing in 2011. Iowa practices and clinics choosing to participate and implement an EHR will receive technical support and consultation from the IFMC HITREC.
e-MDs has participated in several HITREC programs across the country and has been selected as a preferred vendor in several states.
