Premier's group buy program delivers value through coordinated, volume-driven purchasing opportunities
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Premier healthcare alliance today announced that a group buy for energy conservation and management featuring solutions from General Electric (GE) of Fairfield, Conn. is now available. The group buy supports energy efficiency efforts to lower costs, consumption and carbon footprint.
Discounts are available with energy solutions across multiple categories, including:
- Energy conservation and measurement software;
- Electric vehicle chargers;
- Energy efficient transformers and drives;
- Lighting;
- Low voltage switchgear;
- Facility arc flash mitigation; and
- Water treatment products, systems and services.
Effective July 1 through September 30, 2011, the group buy is available to acute care and continuum of care members of Premier.
Healthcare is the country’s second most energy intensive industry, while energy bills consume an estimated 15 percent of hospital profits annually. To further help protect the environment and reduce costs, Premier recently announced a group buy to support wind energy, which is effective through October 31, 2011.
