A woman is suing South Miami Hospital for $1 million for circumcising her baby boy by mistake, ABC News reports. Vera Delgado's lawyer said they are suing for battery, "an unauthorized assault" on the baby. The mother, who is Latino, is culturally opposed to circumcision, her lawyer said. Since announcing Delgado's plan to sue, her lawyer has received many supportive emails from "intactivists" who oppose circumcision. Article
