Hospital board won't give top execs bonuses

El Camino Hospital's board of directors voted last week to award no executive bonuses, or performance incentives for FY 2010, the Los Altos Town Crier reports. Although the hospital fared well on an accreditation survey, the hospital spokesman said that the hospital fell short of financial targets. The incentive payouts that will be withheld would have ranged from 18 to 26 percent of 11 of the top 12 execs' base salaries. The hospital will lay off 140 people by mid-October. Article
