HHS Strengthens Health Information Privacy Through New Rules

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HHS will host a press conference to announce significant modifications to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 Privacy, Security and Enforcement rules, as well as resources and activities to strengthen the privacy of health information and to help Americans understand their rights and resources available to safeguard their personal health information.
