WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- On Friday, December 17th the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Walgreens will host a conference call with reporters to announce a new effort aimed at increasing flu vaccination rates – especially in African American and Hispanic populations. The announcement will also include an update from CDC officials on flu activity ahead of the holiday travel week.
