Health Dialog Receives Renewed NCQA Disease Management (DM) Accreditation

Recognition Affirms DM Excellence; Facilitates Client Efforts to Meet Their Own Requirements

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Health Dialog today announced that its Disease Management (DM) program has been re-accredited for the next three years by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The prestigious certification demonstrates compliance with key standards for NCQA health plan accreditation, including high standards of disease management care for people with asthma, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart failure and ischemic vascular disease (IVD). Health Dialog’s Disease Management program has been recognized by NCQA since 2002.

“NCQA’s Disease Management accreditation program is thorough and rigorous. It’s designed to highlight only those programs that truly improve chronic care,” said NCQA President Margaret E. O’Kane.

The NCQA review process consisted of a meticulous review of Health Dialog’s Disease Management program content, operations, patient services, and quality measurement. The accreditation affirms Health Dialog’s continued commitment to meeting and exceeding NCQA’s high standards and the recognition also facilitates the accreditation efforts of Health Dialog’s health plan clients.

“NCQA accreditation is critical to our continued success as a leading care management firm,” said James Tugendhat, CEO, Health Dialog. “The recognition is both an honor and a testament to our efforts to achieve excellence in our own programs and those of our clients.”
