NASHVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- HCA today announced the completion of the sale of Cedars Medical Center in Miami to the University of Miami for approximately $260 million. The sale is effective December 1, 2007.
HCA and the University of Miami announced the signing of a letter of intent to pursue the sale on March 26, 2007.
HCA maintains a strong presence in South Florida, which includes two hospitals, Kendall Regional Medical Center and Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, in Miami-Dade County.
