DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GroundFloor Media Communications (GFM), a Denver-based public relations agency, recently expanded its health and wellness work to include a new effort with Children’s Hospital Colorado through a grant from The Colorado Trust.
Together, GFM and its partner, Children’s Hospital Colorado, are working to reach mothers and families throughout the state using traditional and social media, as well as leveraging the hospital's extensive Grassroots Advocacy Network. The focus of the campaign is to inform, educate and encourage families to speak out for better access to health care in Colorado.

The Colorado Trust is a strategic grantmaking foundation dedicated to achieving access to health for all Coloradans. The Colorado Trust, together with the Colorado Health Foundation, recently launched a three-year, $9.6 million effort to help increase awareness and understanding about the kinds of changes needed to expand health coverage and improve health care in Colorado. The effort is supporting 14 grantee partners through a combination of communications, advocacy, leadership, media and network-building efforts to increase Coloradans' understanding of health care issues, and their support for improved health coverage and a more effective, cost-efficient health care system.
