Global Net Access (GNAX) to Exhibit and Unveil a Free HIE at HIMSS11

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Global Net Access (GNAX), a leading healthcare technology infrastructure service provider will exhibit and unveil a new Free Health Information Exchange at the 2011 Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Conference & Exhibition, Feb. 20-24, 2011, at the Orange County Convention Center. Visit GNAX at booth 4086.

GNAX will demonstrate its healthcare solutions at HIMSS11 including its VMware vCloud Director based healthcare cloud and a new Free Health Information Exchange. The new GNAX HIE will allow healthcare providers across the country to exchange information quickly in a secure environment for free. The GNAX Free HIE will eliminate many costs associated with exchanging healthcare records, including faxing, mailing and other more costly exchange technology. This radical new healthcare product will be announced on February 21st and pave the way for a new model of healthcare technology delivery.

With the GNAX Cloud, healthcare providers can maximize their IT resources in two major ways. First, by offloading all or parts of the healthcare infrastructure to GNAX, providers can reduce the resources spent toward maintaining infrastructure and reallocate them toward critical business applications. This cost savings is especially true with secondary applications like CPN, CDIS, BedMaster, Sigma Spectrum, EPSI and VisionShare that take up a lot of resources but do not constitute the core of a healthcare provider’s operations.

Second, GNAX healthcare solutions enable providers to improve performance. In addition to simply offloading applications to the cloud, GNAX will provide application level monitoring and application based service level agreements to ensure that those applications run just as well or better than on a dedicated environment for much less money.

“We are very excited to be a part of HIMSS11. Our new solutions can help healthcare providers across the country,” said GNAX COO, Jeff Hinkle. “We are especially enthusiastic about our new HIE and healthcare cloud. These two products alone represent a significant cost savings to providers and improved performance, which leads to better patient care.”

GNAX is also sponsoring the HIMSS11 HIE Symposium on February 20th. Attend the HIE Symposium to see nationally recognized subject matter experts from the field present case studies that are applicable to today's environment for HIEs as well as perspectives on HIE deployment.

HIMSS attendees may visit the GNAX booth #4086 in the exhibit hall. GNAX sales and technology professionals will be on site to discuss the latest technologies and give demonstrations of the GNAX Cloud and HIE. Those who receive a demonstration will be entered into a drawing to win an Apple iPad. Stop by the booth for details. Learn more at www.gnax.net/healthcare.
