Centricity Enterprise is Meaningful Use Ready

BARRINGTON, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GE Healthcare IT, a leading provider of healthcare information technology solutions, announced the availability of its Meaningful Use (MU)-ready software release for Centricity Enterprise - the integrated cross-continuum clinical, financial and administrative software solution for hospitals.

Centricity Enterprise 6.9 is designed to support organizations that require an integrated inpatient and ambulatory software solution on a single platform and wish to demonstrate inpatient and ambulatory Meaningful Use. The solution includes embedded content & workflows to enable more rapid clinician adoption and pre-configured CPOE workflows with embedded decision support, all on a single integrated platform crossing the healthcare continuum.

Centricity Enterprise 6.9 includes new tools and enhancements specifically designed to support clinical staff adoption, quality improvement and cost reduction and is designed to satisfy GE’s healthymagination pillars of reducing cost, improving quality and increasing access. The release includes many enhancements to CPOE and order workflow, configurable patient and assignment views, ePrescribing, eligibility/formulary checking and new applications such as a Registries module to support Quality Measures and automated building of discharge instructions based on diagnosis, meds, problems and allergies to name a few.
