FairWarning® Privacy Breach Detection Receives Two KLAS Konfidence Checkmarks

KLAS Report Reveals 100% of FairWarning®Customers Would Buy Again

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- FairWarning, Inc., a leading supplier of solutions which monitor and protect patient privacy in Electronic Health Records, has achieved two KLAS Konfidence checkmarks, indicating KLAS has surveyed between 20 and 29 of FairWarning®’s customers.

In the recently published KLAS report, “Single Sign-On: To Identity Management and Beyond,” FairWarning® received an Overall Performance rating of 87.1 out of 100.

KLAS speaks with hospital and clinic executives, administrators, physicians, nurses and other directors and managers with business responsibilities regarding the experiences they are having with their vendors and products. The identity of each respondent is kept confidential to allow providers to share candid feedback.

“FairWarning® helps us to comply with the HIPAA regulation that states that we will be able to detect whether HIPAA-protected information has been violated. We can tell whether medical records have been inappropriately accessed and used for something other than providing healthcare, treatment, part of the operations, or payment requirements for that patient,” says one FairWarning® customer surveyed by KLAS.

Other notable ratings from the report include:

  • Vendor provides behavior-based analytics to detect privacy breaches of electronic health records. No serious competitors are currently appearing in healthcare
  • 100% indicate FairWarning® is part of their long-term plans
  • 100% indicate they would purchase FairWarning® again
  • 100% indicate FairWarning® keeps its promises
  • 88% indicate that FairWarning® Avoids Nickel-and-Diming

These and other findings from the KLAS report support privacy breach detection’s effectiveness in detecting and preventing patient privacy breaches in electronic health records. Recent media coverage, such as WikiLeaks Breach Raises Concern About Electronic Health Records, has highlighted the damage caused by privacy breaches, and accentuates the need for effective privacy protection in many industries.
