Employee slain at D.C.-area hospital

Roosevelt Brockington Jr., the lead engineer in Bethesda, Md.-based Suburban Hospital's plant operations department, was attacked and killed at the hospital on Jan. 1, the Washington Post reports. Family members and other sources said Brockington was found in the boiler area of the hospital, which was placed on lockdown after the incident. Patients who needed treatment were diverted to other area facilities. Although officials would not say how Brockington was killed, a family member said he had been stabbed three times. As of late Sunday, no description of a suspect was available. Article
