Specialists On Call, Inc. (SOC), the country’s leading provider of clinical telemedicine services to hospitals, announced today that Dr. Til Jolly has joined the company as Chief Medical Officer, reporting to SOC’s COO, Genia Spencer. Dr. Jolly joins SOC with over 20 years of experience practicing emergency medicine and wide-ranging leadership experience in government, the private sector and academic medicine. He is responsible for all medical operations including quality, accreditation, licensing, training and recruitment.

Prior to joining SOC, Dr. Jolly served in leadership positions in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including service as Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Senior Science Advisor in FEMA's National Exercise Division. He also served as medical preparedness lead for 11 Super Bowls while working with the National Football League. Prior to his government service, he had an active academic career and remains Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at The George Washington University. Dr. Jolly continues to practice emergency medicine at Inova Fairfax Hospital and provides remote telemedicine services to Yellowstone National Park.

Dr. Jolly was a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina and received a medical degree from Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the combined George Washington/Georgetown University program and is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine (Past President) and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
