Cogent HMG Hospitalists Recognized as Fellows in the Society of Hospital Medicine

To be designated as a Fellow or Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine, an applicant must be a hospitalist for five years, a member of SHM for three years, demonstrate their dedication to quality and process improvement, commitment to organizational teamwork and leadership, as well as lifelong learning and education.

Drs. Ilan Alhadeff, Daniel De La Torre, Adam Fall, and Mohamed Noori join a community of 954 hospitalists who are designated as Fellows in Hospital Medicine, and Drs. Bairava Kuppuswamy and Cynthia Lawless join a group of 243 hospitalists who are designated as Senior Fellows in Hospital Medicine.

The Fellow and Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine designations are offered through the Society of Hospital Medicine, the leading medical society for more than 34,000 hospitalists.
