This contract is a testimonial of the confidence that the ease of use of VitalPoint® Home translates into high patient compliance, and validates the partiality that visiting physicians have shown for this breakthrough product. VitalPoint® Home is a standalone 4.5-lb device that can monitor blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, pulse rate, weight, glucose level, prothrombin time and ratios, temperature, fluid status, and provide electrocardiogram data, and provides the caregiver with the ability to remotely monitor patients’ conditions using their own computer, iPad, or cell phone.
This significant contract, worth over $100 million, will have the effect of lowering the cost of healthcare by providing better care, by acting as an early warning system to help detect signs of complications early on.
