CareTech Solutions, an information technology and Web products and services provider for U.S. hospitals announced today that the company’s director, IT Security and Risk Services, Jeff Bell, has been named chairperson of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society’s (HIMSS) Privacy and Security committee. Bell, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), has served as a member of the committee whose mission is to guide implementation of strategic initiatives that promote the privacy and security of healthcare information and management systems, for the past year.
