Facing reimbursement pressure from government payers, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is using its integrated healthcare expertise as an added revenue stream, the Pittsburgh Business Times reported. Partnering with consultin firm The Advisory Board Company, the hospital is offering advisory services throughout the United States. In fact, UPMC already is providing its advisory services to help 10 hospitals develop integrated delivery systems. Article
