Evidence-based oncology treatment initiative is designed to deliver consistent, high-quality healthcare
BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- P4 Healthcare and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee announced today the launch of the P4 Pathways Program, an oncology treatment initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of care for patients. The P4 Pathways Program will provide the tools to establish and implement clinically proven and evidence-based pathways for the treatment of patients with cancer, as well as protocols for supportive care. The pathways are a collaborative effort that will be developed with oncologists across the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee network as a way to provide cost-effective, quality healthcare without comprising the integrity or delivery of treatment.

Developed by P4 Healthcare, the P4 Pathways Program is designed to encourage high-quality, evidence-based standards of care to ensure best patient outcomes. The pathways for the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee network will be created in consultation with BlueCross and with the guidance of academic and community oncologists in Tennessee. The pathways will be updated on a regular basis to incorporate new and effective clinical approaches.
