AUXILIO Expands Managed Print Services Contract with MemorialCare Health System in Southern California, adding Long Beach

Deepens MPS market share from coast to coast

MISSION VIEJO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AUXILIO, Inc. (AUXO.OB), the pioneer in Managed Print Services (MPS) for the health care industry, today announced a five-year MPS contract with MemorialCare Health System in Southern California that is worth an estimated $16 million to $18 million. The contract includes Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach, the system’s corporate headquarters and the Memorial Medical Center Foundation, and will maintain and continue the MPS program underway at Saddleback Memorial campuses in Laguna Hills and San Clemente and Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley. Ranked in the Top 100 Integrated Healthcare Networks nationwide, MemorialCare Health System is located in both Los Angeles and Orange counties and has over 1,500 beds, more than 10,000 employees and a medical staff of over 2,300.

“The expansion of our contract with the MemorialCare Health System to include the entire family of medical centers demonstrates the effectiveness of our MPS strategy and the significant operational and financial improvements we achieve for our customers,” said Joseph J. Flynn, president and chief executive officer of AUXILIO. “We look forward to continuing to earn the confidence of the MemorialCare Health System – and all of our customers – through our ability to reduce costs and build process efficiencies that result in achieving cost-effective and optimal levels of operations for their print environment. MemorialCare Health System is one of the country’s most exceptional patient care systems and I am pleased to continue and expand our MPS services and solutions program for many years to come.”

The demand for improved financial performance, transformative innovation and cost-effective strategies is pervasive in today’s modern health care industry. AUXILIO’s unique health care exclusive and vendor neutral MPS program responds precisely to these challenges and is helping to lead change in hospitals across the country through the work of its full-time, on-site Resident Teams, proven methodology that saves money, expertise in document management workflow and process efficiencies, and the support it provides to advance the strategic goals of hospitals mandated to implement electronic records systems.

The company continues to gain market share in the MPS space in 2011 with this contract added to its recent five-year renewal with Saint Barnabas Health Care System in New Jersey and the expanded agreement with St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Metropolitan New York. Driving the company’s strong growth is the effective results it produces based on its proprietary benchmarking data for hospitals, its focus on customer service, and its customers’ confidence in AUXILIO’s ability to help them meet their financial and operational goals.
