Leading Arizona sleep lab and diagnostics company sells to former owners of O2 Science and is renamed S.T.A.R.S. Healthcare
TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Areté Sleep Health today announced that it has been purchased by the previous leadership of O2 Science. The new owners, who purchased the assets of Areté, have renamed the company S.T.A.R.S. Healthcare. STARS stands for Sleep Testing and Respiratory Services. In addition to offering quality sleep labs and sleep diagnostic services for which Areté was known, STARS Healthcare will also provide respiratory therapy products, such as Oxygen and CPAP.
The new owners have implemented a robust Medicare compliance program for STARS that will align the organization's practices with the latest guidelines from the Office of Inspector General (OIG).

STARS operates six state-of-the-art sleep centers in the greater Phoenix area as well as two centers in Tucson. In addition, the company has two offices which offer Durable Medical Equipment or DME, one in Phoenix and the other in Tucson.
