American Lung Association in Minnesota Offers 'Clean Air Choice Scholarship' for High School Seniors

SAINT PAUL, Minn., Jan. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- All Minnesota high school seniors with plans to continue their education after graduation are eligible for a chance at a $1,000 scholarship for a brief (1,000 words or less) essay on biodiesel, a cleaner-burning fuel that reduces air pollution. All essays will be judged, and an additional $500 scholarship will be awarded to the second-place essay. The scholarships are sponsored by the American Lung Association in Minnesota and the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association. All entries must be in by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011.
