ALHAMBRA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AHMC Central Health LLC (“AHMC”), a newly formed California limited liability company and affiliate of AHMC Healthcare Inc., today announced the acquisition of Central Health Plan of California, Inc. (“Central Health Plan”) from a privately-held investor group based in Diamond Bar, California that owns and operates Central Health Plan. AHMC will continue to operate Central Health Plan as a California-licensed Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan that specializes in the provision of managed care services to Medicare Advantage Plan enrollees. AHMC intends to operate Central Health Plan with as little change as possible to the existing operations and without any changes to its Chief Executive Officer, employee staff, contracted provider network, and benefit plans.
