Whoop expands advanced labs offering to non-members, adds Grail’s multi-cancer detection test to lineup

Fitness wearable company Whoop announced Tuesday it is expanding access to its Advanced Labs testing to individuals that are non-members.

Whoop’s Advanced Labs testing combines blood testing—powered by Quest—with clinician reviewed-results, artificial intelligence-driven insights and personalized recommendations. Insights from testing, which was first launched in 2025, include cardiovascular, metabolic and inflammatory health.

Eight in 10 users report discovering a “meaningful health finding,” with Advanced Labs and more than half receive results that may warrant follow-up with a provider, the company says.

Testing through Advanced Labs begins at approximately $150.

In addition to the expanded access to the capability, Whoop is adding Grail’s multi-cancer early detection test to the lineup. The test is available at nearly 2,000 Quest locations across the U.S. Results are delivered to the Whoop app.

“We’re excited to work with WHOOP to bring Galleri to a community already highly engaged in understanding, monitoring and improving their health,” said Megan Hall, Ph.D, Grail vice president of medical affairs, in a statement. “By making multi-cancer early detection available through trusted platforms that are part of people’s everyday health journeys, we can help more people take a proactive step toward finding cancer earlier, when treatment may be more effective.”

Whoop now more than 3 million members globally and raised a massive $575 million raise at the end of March, Fierce Biotech reported. The funding boosted Whoop's valuation to $10.1 billion.

Tuesday’s launch comes as Whoop continues its expansion from a fitness tracker to a clinical health platform.

In mid-June, it announced a partnership with HealthEx to allow users to connect medical records directly within its app. Users can choose whether to connect records, see what data is shared and can disconnect the features at any time.

In May, the company also introduced on-demand video consultations with licensed clinicians through its app.
