The 2024 HLTH conference at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas was one for the books. From the Zen Dome to the claw machines to the elusive robot dog, the HLTH show floor took the senses by storm. Here's what caught my eye:
Just steps away from the buffet lines stood the Zen Dome, where HLTH attendees rested their weary heads (and feet). Many attendees in the Zen Dome assumed the fetal position while lying on the provided bean bag chairs.
Miller Morris, founder and CEO of women’s menstrual health company Comma, sported PMS advice.
Bandwidth’s sequined jackets lit up the show floor, and their retro claw machine caused a raucous for attendees hoping to win a sequin-clad unicorn.
Fierce Healthcare staff writer Emma Beavins hugged a Deloitte robot named Pepper after an engaging conversation.
Attendees enjoyed some cuddle time at the puppy park with the sweetest furry friends.
Paubox played up the Vegas vibe and handed out flashing sunglasses fit for the club.
Masimo was a man of few words, but he certainly drew eyes in Las Vegas.
Kyle Faget, partner at Foley & Lardner: “We clean up your messes."
The marketing didn’t stop at the doors of the loo. Vivoo wanted attendees to sample their leaks, too.
Colin Elsinga, co-founder and COO of Metriport, brought a meme that could crack a smile on the most serious of interoperability experts.
A lion stalked the show floor.
The diagnostic accuracy of the Feelings Card felt dubious—but at least it wasn’t advertising its use of Al, like most exhibitors in the room.
As we say farewell to HLTH 2024, may you carry the glow of casino lights in your hearts.
