Savello joined the startup in January 2018 as head of business operations and shortly after transitioned to chief commercial officer. Before Color, she worked at Bloomberg LP as the chief of staff and global head of strategy to the CEO of Bloomberg Media, and subsequently the general manager of China initiatives.

DeSantis' transition team

Broward Health
(Broward Health )

Shane Strum, president and chief executive officer of Broward Health, has been given one of the three chairs on the transition team for newly reelected Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. The team is being referred to as the “Keep Florida Free Transition Team.”

Strum previously served as chief of staff to DeSantis during his first term as governor. Following that appointment, Strum began his tenure at the five-hospital public health system, Broward.

“During my second term in office, we will remain focused on continuing to lead on the priorities that matter to Floridians like keeping our schools open and free from indoctrination, protecting and preserving our world-class environment, and maintaining a booming economy,” said DeSantis in a press release. “We look forward to building upon our many successes of the first term and identifying a top-notch team to continue the fight for Florida families, businesses and freedom.”

The team will advise DeSantis on his second-term appointments after speaking with state leaders.

Northwell Health

Northwell Health
(Northwell Health )

Dawnette Lewis, M.D., has been named director of Northwell Health’s Center for Maternal Health.

Lewis’ appointment comes during the system's campaign to reduce maternal mortality rates with a specific focus on reducing maternal morbidity and mortality rates among Black birthers, which the health system’s press release noted was more than three times higher than white birthers. Northwell also noted that the U.S. has a mortality rate higher than any other industrialized nation.

Lewis has long been a leader in the fight against health inequities, according to Northwell Health President and CEO Michael Dowling.

Lewis has practiced in the maternal-fetal subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology medicine for over 20 years. She has served as associate director of maternal-fetal medicine and associate director of patient quality and safety at Northwell's North Shore University Hospital and associate program director of the maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

In her new role, Lewis will oversee the maternal health program, which takes a 360-degree approach to improving outcomes by focusing on the delivery of care and social determinants of health to reduce the likelihood and severity of health conditions from pre-conception through the first year of life.
