Highlights:
- UnitedHealth Group had revenues of $23.3 billion in the second quarter of 2010, an increase of 7 percent year-over-year.
- Net earnings were $0.99 per share, up from $0.73 in Q2 2009, and down from $1.03 in Q1 2010.
- Second quarter earnings from operations were $1.9 billion and net earnings were $1.1 billion.
- Health Benefits second quarter sequential growth in consumers served was led by increases in UnitedHealthcare risk-based products and in Medicaid membership, while the sequential advance in combined revenues for Health Services businesses was led by Ingenix and Prescription Solutions.
