Supreme Court set to hear health reform arguments

The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments regarding the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act next week in what is expected to be a landmark case, FierceHealthcare reported yesterday. The court has a variety of options in how to rule in the case, including invalidating the individual mandate to purchase health insurance or throw out the 2010 law entirely before its most ambitious components are set to be phased in by 2014.
