SPOTLIGHT: Nevada AG sues to block hospital merger

The Nevada Attorney General has filed a lawsuit to block a merger between hospital operators Universal Health Services and Psychiatric Solutions, reports the Associated Press. The lawsuit demands that Psychiatric Solutions sell two hospitals in Las Vegas before moving forward with the merger. Senior Deputy Attorney General Brian Armstrong said the suit was filed to prevent price increases and care reductions. Article
