Government shutdown results in a variety of reactions from providers

Healthcare providers have had a variety of reactions to last week's shutdown of the federal government. The Association of American Medical Colleges stated that providers will "almost immediately" feel the effects of a shutdown, particularly in terms of cuts of payments to teaching hospitals.
