The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will publish 2015 open payments data from group purchasing organizations and self-insured businesses to physicians, teaching hospitals and other providers on June 30. The data is currently available for review by providers through May 15. "This is the only chance for healthcare providers to dispute inaccurate or complete data before we post it," the CMS said on its blog. In June 2015 the agency posted 2014 payments for 1,122 teaching hospitals and 607,000 physicians valued at nearly $6.5 billion. Article
