It is unfortunate that this is the way an article is being presented. Medical Science Liaisons are not hired by companies simply to discuss off-label uses of the drug. Rather, the position was created to enable a rich and robust scientific dialogue between two healthcare professionals and/or scientists that enable physicians to make the most appropriate choice for their patients. The MSL role is that source of unbiased and complete information with regard to their company's products.
