States may publish more doctor disciplinary records

As healthcare consumers continue to insist that not enough information is available or easily accessible, several states have passed or are considering laws to increase transparency--and better inform consumers--by publishing more information about doctors' disciplinary, criminal and and liability histories, reports American Medical News.
