Pediatricians reluctant to admit error

A new study suggests that pediatricians are not likely to be forthcoming if they make a mistake. It concludes that only about half of U.S. pediatricians surveyed said they'd disclose a medical error to the family of a child they were treating. However, they were much more likely to admit the error if it was an obvious one. Article
