SPOTLIGHT: Despite national malaise, healthcare employment up in July
New figures from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics concluded that healthcare employment increased by 20,000 jobs in July, though the national unemployment rate stayed stuck at a nasty 9.4 percent. The largest gain came from ambulatory care, which saw 9,600 new jobs. Article
