Anorexic teens found charity to pay for food addiction treatment
On the surface, Project HEAL (Help to Eat, Accept and Live) sounds like any other conventional charity. What makes it somewhat unusual, though, is that the group--founded to gather funds to pay for eating disorder treatment for those who can't afford it--was created by three teens recovering from such disorders themselves. The teens, who initially focused just on helping each other stay well, now want to bring what they've found to others who are suffering.
