Here's a nice situation: According to political insider newspaper Politico, some of the most powerful aides participating in Senate Finance Committee negotiations on health reform have questionable ties to industry. For example, one aide to Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) had previously worked as a public policy adviser for WellPoint. Another example: the health policy director for Sen. Chuck Grassley, (R-IA) is married to a lobbyist for a firm representing pharmaceutical companies and hospital groups. It all sounds a bit dicey, doesn't it? Article

I guess the author missed the speech where Obama declared that there are no more lobbyists in Washington.

Looks like their titles have been changed to employees.
