SPOTLIGHT: Public expects health reforms to kick in sooner than Congress plans

A new Kaiser Family Foundation poll indicates that about half of Americans think that Democratic healthcare reforms, if passed, will take effect within a year. The problem is, most reform provisions are not actually set to go into effect until 2013. This could lead to some serious public unhappiness when the dust settles, some observers warn. Article

There is no way government run healthcare will kick in before 4 years. There is no money to pay claims. Obama wants to collect penalties, taxes and any other surcharges to put monies into a fund that will probably be used to cover other things than healthcare reform. When the government health insurance finally kicks in there won't be any money and they will need to borrow from China to cover the shortage. How stupid is that? America is going downhill fast all because we have a corrupt political system and Americans don't have the balls to demand that Obama step down because he doesn't know what he's doing
