A new survey from the Morning Consult found that defunding and delaying the implementation of healthcare reform is the least popular option for the law, The Hill's Healthwatch reports. Some congressional Republicans, led by Sens. Mike Lee of Utah and Ted Cruz of Texas, have threatened a government shutdown unless President Obama agrees to defund the law. However, according to the poll, only 6 percent of registered voters--including only 7 percent of Republicans--favor this strategy. Thirty-one percent prefer to "make changes to improve the law," while 30 percent favor repealing it, 22 percent favor letting it take effect as is and 11 percent support expanding it.
