Joint Commission issues rules designed to stop bad behavior by doctors
Comments
It is about time something is done about this type of behavior. Having been on the receiving end of this childish bullying, I can attest to the fact that it interferes with the rights and obligation of nurses to challenge a physician when he or she suspects there is a problem. I applaud the Joint Commission for taking a stand on this important issue.
Finally! And not a day too soon. If this had come sooner many highly educated, caring nurses would have stayed at the bedside and not left for jobs with pharmaceutical companies where childish behavior would have you standing in line at the unemployment office. Thank you Joint Commission!
