quote: "but no one knows yet how many more will follow."
They ALL will. What no one knows is how long it will take.
These are the first steps to deconstructing the Medicare and Medicaid Bulwark. When there is no more money to pay for even basic services, market forces will finally come into play and annihilate the defunct third party healthcare system, that has promised so much but delivered very little to the consumer.
I find this new implementation a scream. To begin with, I began studying radiology and ultrasoundsonograpy in Dallas Texas. The college was a community college. I was in the program. My professor Maryann Little ARRT, explained in her syllabus the patients rights. The students and I had to use this information as biblical. One of the rules was if patient is not satisfied. The patient is not responsible for the medical bill.
On the other hand, I moved to NYC, where there is a labor union and a number of impromptu strategems which lead, the patient going through all sorts of anguish and rewarding the hospital staff with payment.
American hospital administration has got, to go back to the beginning and continue the mission statement for his or her hospital. There has been, too much sugar coating and mythological customer service which is not the panacea for anyone.
We first have to come to the conclusion, the American medical labor force is incorporated with a myraid of ethnicities and cultures. It is by law that American Healthcare top level administration respect his or her cultures. Simultaneously, respecting the medical profession. If certain labor employees can not obtain the ability, to gain the appropriate level of knowledge, the training was poor, the materials were defective, the communication is uneffective, there are illnesses among the laborors or a war has occurred.
Then each problem must be solved. Vis a Vis, the patient nor his or her insurance company should reward a medical organization for inappropriate behavior, which propelled poverty, discomfort, and dissatisfaction upon the patient.
Most patients are afraid, they feel the medical group is going to come after him or her. The reality is who is going to come help him or her pay the outstanding bills, clean his or her home without stealing, and other life needs for the patient?
It is vital that each hospital employee understands, if your behavior becomes at risk. The patient has the right, to write the event up and not pay for services. The administration has the right, to use quality control as the damage control and make the discovery of how much damage was measured? Then a decision is to be made, to pay medical center, or not to pay medical center, clinic, or medical office.
This is consumer rights!
