Governors call for healthcare stimulus plan

If the billions and billions of Medicaid dollars spent on illegal aliens and Medicaid fraud each year was stopped immediately, hospitals in the West would not be closing. Instead services could be increased to American citizens, Why doesn't the new President take immediate steps to stop all Fraud in Medicare and Medicaid? And why should the American taxpayer, and Medicaid support illegal women pre-natal and delivery, then Feed, raise, educate, train their offspring? Instead of funding more, we should clean up the mess

I live and practice in a border city near the Tex-Mexico border. I do not see as many undocumented patients seeking free medical care as I do see the huge fruad problem. WE as health care provides should not question the legal status of our patient but deliver the best care to each patient regardless.
The Medicare fruad I see involves DME, Home Care, and ancillary services. In the practice I work none of the physician sign off to DME equipment such as motorize wheelchairs, diapers or home care nursing visits. We do not have a nursing shortage. What we have is a shift of nursing staff from hospital to home health. The home health nurses are getting up to $60.00 per patient visit, plus milage. This is more than what a physician reimbursement for an office visit. If the fruad problem is address, the saavings could be tremendous.

I would like to know why medicare won't help with people that needs dental and vision,when you get older your eyes goes and teeth,with a fixed income and the price of dental especially is dangerous to your health,which has effected mine,but cannot afford having them pulled and suffer greatly with toothaches,need help,see if anything can be done in the plan,Thanks and God Bless
